• Vennela Kishore was the one who suggested Adivi Sesh for the lead in Run Raja Run (2014). The director Sujeeth was initially unsure, but Kishore insisted Sesh had the right mix of charm and intensity. That film put both of them on the map.
• In Kshanam (2016), Kishore played the comic relief while Sesh carried the thriller tension. But on set, Kishore would deliberately mess up his lines to make Sesh laugh, breaking the ice before intense scenes. Sesh later said Kishore’s goofiness helped him stay loose for the dark role.
• Their chemistry in Run Raja Run (2014) directly led to Sujeeth casting them again in Kshanam (2016). That film became a cult hit and kick-started the trend of slick, short thrillers in Telugu cinema — a genre that barely existed before.
