• They first met on the set of Daraar (1987) because the director needed a fresh villain to go against Chunky's hero. Kiran was a newcomer then, and Chunky reportedly told the director, 'Yeh ladka kaam karega' — that one line got Kiran the role.
• In Jeevan Daata (1991), Chunky played the righteous hero while Kiran played the scheming villain. Chunky later admitted that Kiran's intense stare in their confrontation scene made him genuinely nervous — and that fear made his performance more real.
• During the shoot of Parda Hai Parda (1992), the two shared a hotel room in Ooty for three weeks. They would rehearse their lines at 2 AM, waking up the crew. The unit called them 'the night owls'.
• Their third film together, Parda Hai Parda (1992), was the first Hindi film to feature a rap-style song in a village setting. The track 'Maine Tujhe Pyar Kiya' became a cult hit in small-town Uttar Pradesh, directly inspiring later 'desi rap' songs in 90s B-movies.
• Chunky Pandey once said in a 1993 interview: 'Kiran and I never needed a director. We'd just look at each other and know what the scene needed. He was my best on-screen enemy.'
