• Cochin Haneefa was the one who pushed to cast Raadhika as the female lead in Pasa Paravaigal (1988). He had just moved from Malayalam to Tamil cinema and insisted she was the only one who could match his comic timing.
• In Pasa Mazhai (1989), Haneefa deliberately slowed down his delivery in every scene with Raadhika. He knew she had a sharper rhythm, so he let her set the pace — and the film became their only critical hit together.
