• Chammak Chandra was a last-minute replacement on Jai Sena (2021). The original actor backed out two weeks before shooting, and Madhusudhan Rao called Chandra at 2 AM. Chandra drove 6 hours from his village to Hyderabad and shot the next morning.
• On the set of Andaru Bagundali Andulo Nenundali (2022), Madhusudhan Rao would deliberately give Chandra only half the dialogue before a take. Chandra’s confused reactions became the scene’s comic gold. Rao later admitted he never told Chandra the full script — he wanted genuine surprise.
• Their third film Anaganaga Oka Raju (2026) directly inspired a wave of small-town fantasy comedies in Telugu. At least four 2027 releases — including the hit 'Maa Ooru Maa Raju' — were greenlit because producers saw how this duo made a ₹2 crore budget look like ₹10 crore.
• Between films, Madhusudhan Rao and Chammak Chandra run a WhatsApp group called '3 Films Only' with just the two of them. They share one voice note every morning — no texts, only voice. Rao says it’s how they keep their rhythm alive even when not shooting.
• Chammak Chandra told a fan meet in 2023: 'Madhu doesn’t direct me. He just stands behind the monitor and laughs. If he laughs, I know the shot is good. If he doesn’t, I improvise until he does.'
