• Senthil was already a popular comedian when he was paired with newcomer Heera in 'Endrum Anbudan' (1992). The director, K. Rajeshwar, specifically wanted a fresh face opposite Senthil to balance his comic energy — Heera got the role after a screen test where she had to improvise a scene with him on the spot.
• In 'Band Master' (1993), Senthil deliberately slowed down his usual rapid-fire comic timing to match Heera's more natural, understated style. He later told a magazine that he 'learned to pause' because she didn't react like other heroines — she made him listen instead of just delivering punchlines.
