Kaminey is a 2009 Indian Hindi-language black comedy crime thriller film written and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. It stars Shahid Kapoor in a dual role as twin brothers Charlie and Guddu, alongside Priyanka Chopra and Amole Gupte. Set in the Mumbai underworld, the story follows a pair of estranged twins — one with a lisp and the other with a stutter — over the course of a single chaotic day. The film received widespread critical acclaim for its innovative storytelling, dark humour, and performances. It won two National Film Awards and became a cult classic. Storyline
Twin brothers Charlie and Guddu are complete opposites. Charlie is a small-time crook who steals a suitcase full of cocaine. Guddu is a gentle man who just wants to marry his pregnant girlfriend. Their lives collide in one wild day of mistaken identity, gangsters, corrupt cops, and a desperate fight for survival.
