Kaafila(1990)

Storyline

A college student defies her parents to date a fellow student, who encourages her to run for student body president. Her popularity angers a rival political group, which pressures her to drop out of the race. She refuses, and the campus conflict escalates into widespread violence that the police cannot control.

• The film's title 'Kaafila' was changed from its original name 'Kaafila Aa Gaya' before release.
• It was one of the few films where actor Uday Tikekar played a romantic lead opposite a top star like Juhi Chawla.
