The story follows two rival food and beverage conglomerates, the Sehgal Group and the Marwah Group, who use unethical tactics to dominate the market. A loyal executive, Nishi, becomes trapped in their power games and is ultimately sacrificed to protect the company owners. The film is noted for its stark realism and critical portrayal of corporate immorality. It was a moderate commercial success and earned Bipasha Basu several Best Actress awards.
