Blackmail is a 2005 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Anil Devgan. The lead cast includes Ajay Devgn, Sunil Shetty, Priyanka Chopra, and Dia Mirza. The story follows a police officer whose son is kidnapped by a criminal he once arrested. The criminal seeks revenge but discovers a shocking secret about the boy's parentage. The film is inspired by the 1996 American film Ransom. It was produced by Narendra Bajaj, Shyam Bajaj, and Veeru Devgan under the banners Siddhi Vinayak Creations and Devgan Entertainment Software. The music was composed by Himesh Reshammiya. Blackmail received mixed reviews from critics, who praised its action sequences but found the plot predictable. The film was released on 28 January 2005 in theatres across India.

Storyline
An honest police officer arrests a dangerous criminal. Years later, the criminal is released and kidnaps the officer's young son. He plans to make the officer suffer. But a hidden secret changes everything. The boy might be the criminal's own child. Now both men fight for the boy's love and safety.
