Sehar(2005)
Sehar (2005) is a Hindi-language crime drama film directed by Kabeer Kaushik. The lead cast includes Arshad Warsi, Mahima Chaudhry, Sushant Singh, and Pankaj Kapur. The story is set in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, during the 1990s and follows SSP Ajay Kumar as he forms a Special Task Force to eliminate gangster Gajraj Singh. The film is loosely based on the real-life encounter of criminal Prakash Shukla by the UP Police STF. It received positive reviews from critics for its gritty realism and strong performances, but failed at the box office. Over time, Sehar gained cult status and is considered one of Arshad Warsi's finest performances. It was released in theatres on 29 July 2005.

Storyline
Honest IPS officer Ajay Kumar is posted in Lucknow, a city terrorised by gangster Gajraj Singh. Ajay forms a Special Task Force to catch Gajraj, who is protected by politicians. The STF uses phone tapping and intelligence to track him, but a final confrontation inside a moving train leads to devastating losses.
