Trivia

  • The film's title is a playful twist on a popular Hindi phrase, 'Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi!', which expresses a wish for an ideal life.
  • Actor Sanjay Dutt, who plays Yamraj, was reportedly a last-minute replacement for another actor considered for the role.
  • This movie marked one of the final film appearances of veteran actor Shammi Kapoor before his passing in 2011.
  • The fantasy-comedy plot is loosely inspired by the Hollywood film 'Ghost', but set within a joint Indian family context.
  • Director Mahesh Manjrekar is better known for hard-hitting dramas, making this family-friendly fantasy an unusual choice in his filmography.
  • Despite featuring popular stars, the film performed poorly at the box office and received mixed reviews from critics.
  • The soundtrack included a song, 'Dil Mera Toota', which became more popular than the film itself.
