• Shahid Kapoor was a total newcomer when he was cast opposite Amrita Rao in Ishq Vishk (2003). The director, Ken Ghosh, reportedly chose Amrita because she had a 'girl-next-door' vibe that balanced Shahid's raw energy — the film put both of them on the map overnight.
