Zameer: The Fire Within(2005)
Zameer: The Fire Within is a 2005 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film directed by Kamal. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Ameesha Patel, and Mahima Chaudhry in lead roles. The story follows a chemistry professor caught between his paralyzed true love and a mischievous student who falls for him. The film is a remake of Kamal's own Malayalam film Mazhayethum Munpe (1995). It was originally titled Rahe Naa Rahe Hum and faced a five-year production delay. The soundtrack was composed by Jatin–Lalit with lyrics by Sameer. The film was shot in Kolkata and Daman and Diu. It was a box office disaster, earning ₹1.58 crore against a budget of ₹4.50 crore. The film released on 4 March 2005.

Storyline
Suraj Chauhan is a chemistry professor who loves a paralyzed woman named Supriya. A spoiled student named Pooja falls in love with him and lies to break his engagement. Suraj marries Pooja, but guilt and betrayal tear everyone apart.
