Zameer(2004)
'Zameer: The Fire Within' is a 2005 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film directed by Kamal. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Ameesha Patel, and Mahima Chaudhry in lead roles. It is a remake of Kamal's own Malayalam film 'Mazhayethum Munpe' (1999). The story follows a chemistry professor caught between his paralyzed lover and a spoiled student who manipulates her way into his life. The film was originally titled 'Rahe Naa Rahe Hum' and began production in 1999 but was delayed for five years. It was released on 4 March 2005 and was a box-office disaster. The soundtrack was composed by Jatin–Lalit with lyrics by Sameer.

Storyline
A chemistry professor named Suraj is in love with Supriya, a woman paralyzed by illness. A spoiled student named Pooja falls for him and lies to break them apart. Forced into marriage, Pooja's guilt destroys her, while Suraj must find a way to forgive and rebuild his life.
