Storyline
Kanji returns to his village from Mumbai with a TV and satellite dish. The villagers become obsessed with television. This angers the local priest and the powerful Thakur. Kanji falls in love with the Thakur's sister. The Thakur threatens to destroy the village. The villagers must unite to save their home and their new way of life.
