Kasoor(2001)
Kasoor is a 2001 Indian Hindi-language legal thriller film directed by Vikram Bhatt and produced by Mukesh Bhatt's Vishesh Films. It stars Aftab Shivdasani as Shekhar Saxena and Lisa Ray as Advocate Simran Bhargav, with Apoorva Agnihotri, Irrfan Khan, and Ashutosh Rana in supporting roles. The story follows Simran, a lawyer haunted by a past mistake, who defends Shekhar, a journalist accused of murdering his wife. As she fights to prove his innocence, she uncovers a web of lies and manipulation. The film is an unofficial remake of the 1985 American film Jagged Edge, with its climax borrowed from What Lies Beneath. Kasoor was a critical and commercial success upon its release on 2 February 2001. Its soundtrack, composed by Nadeem-Shravan, became popular.

Storyline
A wealthy journalist is accused of murdering his wife. A brilliant but guilt-ridden lawyer takes his case. She believes he is innocent and falls in love with him. But mysterious letters and a hidden typewriter reveal a shocking truth. The lawyer must fight for her own life when she discovers her client is the real killer.
