Rehnaa Hai(2001)
Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein is a 2001 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film written and directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. It stars R. Madhavan, Saif Ali Khan, and Dia Mirza in her debut role. The story follows Madhav 'Maddy' Shastri, a carefree young man who impersonates his college rival to win the heart of Reena Malhotra. The film is a remake of Menon's own Tamil film Minnale. It received mixed reviews upon release but gained a cult following through television reruns. The soundtrack, composed by Harris Jayaraj, became hugely popular. The film was re-released in theatres in August 2024 and earned over ₹3.50 crore.

Storyline
Maddy, a reckless college student, falls in love with Reena at first sight. But Reena is engaged to Rajeev, a man she hasn't seen in years. Maddy decides to pretend to be Rajeev to win her heart. Everything goes well until the real Rajeev arrives — and he is Maddy's worst enemy.
