Dhadkan is a 2000 Indian Hindi-language musical romantic drama film directed by Dharmesh Darshan. It stars Suniel Shetty, Akshay Kumar, Shilpa Shetty, and Mahima Chaudhry in lead roles. The story follows Anjali, who is forced to marry Ram after her father rejects her poor lover Dev. Years later, a wealthy Dev returns to win her back, but Anjali has fallen in love with Ram. A loose adaptation of Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights, the film explores themes of love, obsession, and forgiveness. It was a major commercial success, grossing ₹26 crore worldwide. The soundtrack, composed by Nadeem-Shravan, became the second best-selling album of 2000. Suniel Shetty won the Filmfare Award for Best Villain for his role. The film released on August 11, 2000.

Storyline
