Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai is a 2000 Indian Hindi-language musical romantic action film written, directed, and produced by Rakesh Roshan. The film stars Hrithik Roshan in a dual role as Rohit and Raj, alongside Ameesha Patel as Sonia. The supporting cast includes Anupam Kher, Dalip Tahil, Mohnish Bahl, and Ashish Vidyarthi. The story follows Sonia, a wealthy woman who falls in love with Rohit, a poor singer. After Rohit is murdered by criminals, Sonia moves to New Zealand and meets Raj, Rohit's doppelganger. Together, they investigate Rohit's death and uncover a drug cartel led by Sonia's father. The film integrates romance, action, and suspense. It was a major commercial success, grossing over ₹800 million worldwide and becoming the highest-grossing Hindi film of 2000. Hrithik Roshan's debut performance earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Actor and Best Male Debut. The film won 92 awards, a Guinness World Record. It was re-released in theatres on 10 January 2025 for its 25th anniversary.

Storyline
A poor singer named Rohit falls in love with a rich girl named Sonia. But after Rohit witnesses a murder, he is killed by criminals. Heartbroken, Sonia moves to New Zealand. There, she meets Raj, a man who looks exactly like Rohit. Together, they must uncover the truth behind Rohit's death and bring the killers to justice.
