Raju Chacha(2000)
Raju Chacha is a 2000 Indian Hindi-language action comedy film directed by Anil Devgan. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Kajol, and Rishi Kapoor, with Sanjay Dutt in a special appearance. The story follows Shekhar, a con artist who falls in love with Anna, the governess of three wealthy children. After their father dies, Shekhar pretends to be the long-lost uncle to protect the children and their fortune from greedy relatives. The film was the most expensive Indian film at the time of its release, with a budget of ₹250 million. It received mixed reviews and was declared a box office disaster, grossing only ₹209.2 million worldwide. The film won the Screen Award for Best Special Effects. It was released theatrically on 29 December 2000.
