Miss 420(1998)
Miss 420 is a 1998 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Akashdeep Sabir. It stars Sheeba Akashdeep as the titular secret agent and Baba Sehgal in his acting debut. The supporting cast includes Shakti Kapoor, Aashif Sheikh, Mohan Joshi, and Tinnu Anand. The plot follows a young CBI recruit assigned to infiltrate a smuggling ring stealing defence secrets. She operates under the codename Miss 420 after her predecessor is killed. The film was shot in 1993 but delayed for four years before its release on January 23, 1998. Its soundtrack, composed by Anu Malik, featured the popular songs 'Aaja Meri Gaadi Me Baith Ja' and 'Memsaab O Memsaab'. Despite the music's success, the film was a commercial failure, grossing ₹92.77 lakh against a ₹1.25 crore budget.
