Saat Rang Ke Sapne(1997)
Saat Rang Ke Sapne is a 1998 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Amitabh Bachchan. The film stars Arvind Swamy in his Bollywood debut alongside Juhi Chawla, with Anupam Kher, Farida Jalal, and Satish Shah in supporting roles. The story follows Mahipal, a loyal bullock-cart racer, who is caught between his friendship with his employer Bhanu and his love for a gypsy woman named Jalima. Set against the vibrant landscapes of Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu, the film explores themes of love, revenge, and sacrifice. It is a remake of Priyadarshan's own 1994 Malayalam film Thenmavin Kombath. The film was a box office failure and received mixed reviews from critics, who praised its visuals but criticized its convoluted plot and excessive length.
