Ashaant(1993)
Ashaant is a 1993 Hindi action film directed by Keshu Ramsay. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Vishnuvardhan, Ashwini Bhave, and Mamta Kulkarni. The story follows ACP Vijay of the Mumbai police and Inspector Vishnu of the Bangalore police as they unite to stop a terrorist named Rana from circulating fake currency. Rana's operation threatens the national economy, forcing the two officers to overcome personal mistrust and departmental betrayal. The film is noted for its high-octane action sequences and a popular song featuring Mamta Kulkarni. The Hindi version underperformed at the box office, but the Kannada-dubbed version, Vishnu Vijaya, became a commercial success in Karnataka due to Vishnuvardhan's regional popularity. Storyline
