Storyline
During British rule in India, a man named Bansiram owns a small piece of land given to him by a kind landlord. When the landlord’s greedy son tries to steal the land, Bansiram gets protection from the British to keep it safe. Years later, the landlord’s grandson inherits the estate and finally visits Bansiram, who is now an old and frail man.
