Mashooq(1992)
Mashooq is a 1992 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film directed by the Mirza Brothers. The film stars Ayub Khan and Ayesha Jhulka in lead roles, with supporting performances by Kiran Kumar, Raza Murad, Pran, and Beena Banerjee. The story is an adaptation of William Shakespeare's play The Taming of the Shrew, set in a contemporary Indian upper-class society. The plot follows Karan, a wealthy man who bets he can make the independent Nisha fall in love with him, leading to a battle of wits and wills. The film is notable for its popular soundtrack composed by Shyam Surender, with songs sung by Kumar Sanu, Kavita Krishnamurthy, and Abhijeet. Mashooq was released on 10 July 1992.

Storyline
A rich and arrogant man named Karan bets his friends he can make the fiery and independent Nisha fall in love with him. He uses tricks and charm, but Nisha fights back. As they clash, real feelings develop, and Karan must choose between winning a bet and winning her heart.
