Das were racing to cash in on Pran's late-career resurgence as a character actor — they literally shot Do Hanso Ka Joda and Mashooq back-to-back on the same sets, with Kiran shuttling between the two units in a single day.
• In Panaah (1992), Pran played the stern father while Kiran played the rebellious son — but the real tension came from Pran insisting on delivering his lines in a slow, measured growl, forcing Kiran to match his pace and drop his usual fast delivery, creating a rare father-son rhythm where silence spoke louder than dialogue.
