'Sangeet' (Music) is a 1992 Hindi-language musical drama film directed by K. Vishwanath. The lead cast includes Jackie Shroff and Madhuri Dixit, with Dixit performing a dual role as mother and daughter. The story follows a blind orphan girl who aspires to become a successful singer with the help of a street performer. Along the way, she uncovers the truth about her parents and her own past. The film is noted for Madhuri Dixit's sensitive portrayal, which is often regarded as one of her best but underrated performances. Despite critical appreciation, the film was a commercial disappointment at the box office. The music was composed by the duo Anand-Milind with lyrics by Santosh Anand. Storyline
