Lamhe (1991) is a Hindi-language musical romantic drama film directed and produced by Yash Chopra. The film stars Sridevi in a dual role as mother Pallavi and daughter Pooja, alongside Anil Kapoor as Viren, a wealthy NRI. The story follows Viren's lifelong love for Pallavi and his eventual relationship with her daughter Pooja, set across Rajasthan and London. The film won the National Film Award for Best Costume Design and five Filmfare Awards including Best Film and Best Actress. It is considered Yash Chopra's personal favorite among his directorial works. The film was released on 22 November 1991 under the Yash Raj Films banner.

Storyline
A young NRI named Viren falls in love with Pallavi during a visit to Rajasthan. She marries someone else and dies in an accident, leaving behind a daughter named Pooja. Twenty years later, Viren meets the grown-up Pooja, who looks exactly like her mother. He must confront his past and decide if he can love her for who she truly is.
