Narsimha is a 1991 Indian Hindi-language action drama film directed, produced, written, and edited by N. Chandra. The film stars Sunny Deol as the titular character and Dimple Kapadia as his love interest, with Om Puri, Urmila Matondkar, and Ravi Behl in supporting roles. The story follows a man who loses his family in a communal riot and becomes a weapon for a tyrannical landlord, only to rediscover his humanity through love and rise up against oppression. The film is notable for its mythological parallels to the Narasimha legend and Om Puri's critically acclaimed performance as the villain, which earned him a Filmfare nomination. Storyline
