Storyline

In 1895 Bombay, a happy-go-lucky school dropout named Shivkar Bapuji Talpade falls in love with a dancer and gets thrown out by his father. He teams up with a mad scientist who is secretly building a flying machine using an ancient book. Together they face failure, betrayal, and British oppression as they try to achieve the impossible dream of flight.
