
Brothers (2015)
Brothers is a 2015 Hindi-language sports action drama film directed by Karan Malhotra. It stars Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra, Jacqueline Fernandez, Jackie Shroff, and Shefali Shah. The story follows two estranged half-brothers who enter a mixed martial arts tournament called Right 2 Fight. Their personal history of family tragedy and unresolved anger forces them to confront each other in the final match. The film is an official remake of the 2011 American film Warrior. It was produced by Dharma Productions, Lionsgate Films, and Endemol India. The movie received mixed reviews from critics but performed moderately at the box office. It was released on 14 August 2015 during India's Independence Day weekend.

Storyline
David Fernandes is a physics teacher who fights in underground matches to pay for his daughter's kidney treatment. His half-brother Monty is an angry young man who wants to become a famous MMA fighter. Both brothers enter the same tournament and must face each other in the final. Their painful family past threatens to destroy them before they can heal.
