The story follows two slum children in Chennai who become obsessed with eating a pizza from a new local restaurant. The film was produced by Dhanush and Vetrimaaran and distributed by Fox Star Studios. It won the National Film Award for Best Children's Film and Best Child Artist. Critics praised its realistic performances, sharp screenplay, and social commentary. The film was a commercial success, earning over ₹12 crore at the box office. It premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2014 and released worldwide on 5 June 2015.

Storyline
Two young brothers living in a Chennai slum see a pizza commercial and become determined to taste one. They save money by collecting charcoal from railway tracks. But when they finally have enough, the pizza shop's watchman turns them away because of their dirty clothes. Their simple dream turns into a battle against class discrimination.
