Seedan is a 2011 Indian Tamil-language romantic fantasy drama film directed by Subramaniam Siva. The film stars Dhanush, Unni Mukundan, and Ananya in lead roles. It is a remake of the 2002 Malayalam film Nandanam. The story follows Mahalakshmi, a servant girl and devotee of Lord Murugan, who falls in love with her employer's grandson. When their relationship faces opposition, a mysterious cook named Saravanan arrives to help. The film blends romance, comedy, and spiritual themes. It was released on 25 February 2011 to mixed reviews. The soundtrack was composed by Dhina. The film was later dubbed in Telugu as Mahalakshmi.

Storyline
