Enga Ooru Mappillai(1989)
Enga Ooru Mappillai is a 1989 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by T. P. Gajendran. It stars Ramarajan and Gautami in lead roles, with Goundamani, Senthil, Kovai Sarala, and R. S. Manohar in supporting parts. The story follows Velu, a naive village boy who moves in with his uncle after his mother dies, faces constant mistreatment from his aunt and her brothers, and falls in love with Panjavarnam. A wealthy and corrupt village elder, Rajalingam, plots to kidnap Panjavarnam and destroy Velu. The film is notable for its blend of romance, comedy, and action, and for Ilaiyaraaja's soundtrack. Storyline
