Poovukkul Boogambam(1988)
Poovukkul Boogambam is a 1988 Indian Tamil-language action war film written, produced, and directed by Thiagarajan in his debut. The film stars Thiagarajan as Captain Vijay and Parvathy as Radha, with B. Saroja Devi and Charan Raj in supporting roles. The story follows an army officer torn between his duty to the nation and his love for a woman, set against the backdrop of a real military conflict. Thiagarajan shot the film in actual army camps near Faizabad, New Delhi, Chennai, Agra, and Srinagar with 3,500 real soldiers. The soundtrack was composed by S. P. Venkatesh under the name Sangeetharajan. The film was released on 13 April 1988 and ran for over 10 days in theatres.

Storyline
Captain Vijay, a dedicated Indian Army officer, falls in love with Radha. When war breaks out, he must leave her to fight on the front lines. Radha follows him into the war zone. Vijay is captured by the enemy and tortured. He must escape and win the battle to reunite with his love.
