Storyline
Sathyamoorthi is a poor, liberal leader struggling to get his pension. His daughter Kannamma is cheated by a collector, who abandons her after she has his baby. When the collector plans to marry another woman, Sathyamoorthi kills him and is sentenced to death by the court.
