Sigappu Malargal (transl. Red Flowers) is a 1986 Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by S. A. Chandrasekhar. The film stars Suresh and Gayatri in lead roles. The story follows Raja, a young man who falls in love with Geetha, but their families are divided by a long-standing feud. The conflict escalates when a hidden truth about a past accident is revealed. The film is notable for its unexpected twists and emotional climax. The Indian Express praised the twists but criticised the clichés, while Kalki magazine noted the film kept viewers engaged without yawning. The music was composed by M. S. Viswanathan with lyrics by Vaali. The film was released on 21 November 1986.
