Vettai(1986)
Vettai is a 2012 Indian Tamil-language action film co-produced, written, and directed by N. Linguswamy. The film stars Madhavan, Arya, Sameera Reddy, and Amala Paul in lead roles, with Ashutosh Rana, Nassar, and Thambi Ramaiah in supporting roles. The story follows two brothers in Thoothukudi: the elder is sensitive to violence, while the younger is a jobless rogue. When their policeman father dies, the elder brother takes the police job and secretly relies on his younger brother to fight criminals. The film features music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Nirav Shah. It received positive reviews for its entertainment value and strong performances, particularly from Madhavan and Arya. Vettai was released on 14 January 2012 during the Pongal festival and was a commercial success.

Storyline
Two brothers are complete opposites. The elder is gentle and hates violence. The younger is a fearless rogue. When their father dies, the elder becomes a police officer. But he is too scared to fight criminals. His younger brother secretly does all the dangerous work for him. A powerful gangster discovers their secret and threatens to destroy their family.
