Meendum Parasakthi(1985)
Meendum Parasakthi is a 1985 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by A. Jagannathan. The film stars Sivakumar and Nalini in lead roles, with Jaishankar playing the antagonist. The story follows a poor farmer who loses his family to a fire set by a wealthy landowner and seeks justice. Raghavan Thambi wrote the story, while R. K. Dharmaraja handled the screenplay. Ilaiyaraaja composed the soundtrack, featuring four songs including 'Rajathi Roja' and 'Kaanal Neer'. The film was shot in Ooty, at GD Naidu Palace, and at an abandoned bungalow in Chennai. It was released on 2 June 1985. Critical reception was mixed, with Kalki magazine questioning the film's logic.
