Un Kannil Neer Vazhindal is a 1985 Indian Tamil-language action film written and directed by Balu Mahendra. It stars Rajinikanth as Ravi, an honest police officer, and Madhavi as Padma, his love interest. The story follows Ravi after he is falsely suspended from the police force by the corrupt criminal Dharmaraj. Determined to clear his name, Ravi fights against a system controlled by money and violence. The film was shot primarily in Ooty and features music composed by Ilaiyaraaja. It is notable as the only collaboration between Rajinikanth and director Balu Mahendra. The film received mixed reviews but was appreciated for its outdoor cinematography. Storyline
An honest police officer named Ravi is falsely accused of corruption by a powerful criminal. Suspended from duty and humiliated, he decides to prove his innocence. But every step he takes is blocked by the villain's money and violence. Ravi must risk everything — including his life and the people he loves — to bring the real criminal to justice.
