Nandri(1984)
Nandri is a 1984 Indian Tamil-language thriller film directed and scripted by Rama Narayanan, with a story by Abbaiah Naidu. The cast includes Karthik, Nalini, Mahalakshmi, and Arjun Sarja in his Tamil debut. The plot follows Officer Shankar and his loyal dog Raja as they battle a corrupt village chairman. The film is a remake of the Kannada film Thaliya Bhagya. It features a dog named Brownie in a pivotal role. The music was composed by Shankar–Ganesh. The film was released on 17 August 1984.

Storyline
Officer Shankar moves to a village ruled by the cruel chairman Sathyanathan. With his loyal dog Raja, Shankar fights to protect the villagers. Sathyanathan will do anything to stop him, even kidnap innocent women. Shankar must risk everything to bring justice and save those he loves.
