Vamsavilakku(1984)
Vamsa Vilakku is a 1984 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by R. Krishnamoorthy and produced by S. R. Arulprakasam. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan in a dual role, alongside K. R. Vijaya, Prabhu, and Radhika. The story follows Sathyamoorthy, a man who becomes a smuggler after his son is murdered and raises his grandson in hiding. The film is a remake of the 1982 Hindi film Vidhaata. It was released on 23 October 1984. The soundtrack was composed by Gangai Amaran.

Storyline
After his police inspector son is killed by a criminal, Sathyamoorthy takes revenge and becomes a wanted man. He raises his grandson in secret while building a criminal empire. Years later, his grandson falls in love with a poor woman, forcing Sathyamoorthy to confront his past and his choices.
