Aayiram Nilave Vaa is a 1983 Indian Tamil-language romantic thriller film written and directed by A. S. Prakasam. The film stars Karthik in a dual role as twin brothers alongside Sulakshana. Set in an Ooty estate, the story follows Chandhar, a writer and estate manager, who falls in love with a blind woman named Devi. His estranged twin brother Suri creates conflict, leading to a fatal fight and a case of mistaken identity. The film is notable for being Ilaiyaraaja's 200th film as a music composer. Storyline
Chandhar manages an estate in Ooty and writes stories for a magazine. He falls in love with Devi, a woman who pretends to be blind. His evil twin brother Suri wants Devi for himself. A fight between the brothers ends in death. Chandhar must pretend to be Suri to hide the truth. But Devi believes Suri killed Chandhar and hates him.
