Manaivi Solle Mandhiram is a 1983 Indian Tamil-language family drama film directed by Rama Narayanan and produced by P. Kalaimani. The cast includes Mohan as Thyagu, Nalini as Selvi, Pandiyan as Bharathan, and Ilavarasi as Rani. Storyline
Selvi marries Dr. Thyagu, a kind but weak man whose greedy parents demand a huge dowry. After the wedding, Thyagu's family wastes the entire dowry on luxuries. Selvi decides to teach her in-laws a lesson by forcing them to become responsible. Her actions create conflict but ultimately save her marriage and her husband's life.
