
Enkeyo Ketta Kural(1982)
Enkeyo Ketta Kural is a 1982 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by S. P. Muthuraman. The film stars Rajinikanth as Kumaran, with Ambika and Radha playing his love interests Ponni and Kamatchi, and Meena as their daughter. Set in a village near Chengalpet, the story follows Kumaran's marriage to Ponni, her abandonment of him and their child, and his subsequent marriage to her sister Kamatchi. The film explores themes of betrayal, forgiveness, and family duty. It won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Film and the Filmfare Award for Best Film – Tamil. The music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja. The film was released on 14 August 1982.

Storyline
Kumaran, a hardworking farmer, marries his cousin Ponni, who dreams of a wealthy life. After their daughter is born, Ponni abandons them to elope with a rich man. Kumaran is forced to marry her sister Kamatchi. Years later, Ponni returns, and Kumaran must choose between tradition and forgiveness.
