Kaadhal Oviyam is a 1982 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by Bharathiraja. The film stars newcomer Kannan and Radha in lead roles. The story follows Sakthi, a blind orphan who sings devotional songs in a temple, and Ponni, a dancer who falls in love with him. Their love is challenged by family pressure, social class, and cruel fate. The film is notable for its tragic ending and Ilaiyaraaja's classical music score. Storyline
