'Krodham' (1982) is a Tamil-language crime thriller film directed by A. Jagannathan. The film stars Prem Menon, Rani Padmini, and S. A. Ashokan in lead roles. It follows Prem, an architect who turns into a ruthless vigilante after his wife is murdered by street thugs. Armed with a revolver, he prowls the streets of Madras at night, killing muggers and criminals. The film is inspired by the 1974 American film 'Death Wish'. It was noted for its dark tone and violent content, which was uncommon in Tamil cinema of that era. The soundtrack was composed by Shankar–Ganesh with lyrics by Vaali, Vairamuthu, and Udhayanan. A sequel titled 'Krodham 2' was released in 2000, directed by and starring Prem Menon.
