Ranuva Veeran(1981)
Ranuva Veeran is a 1981 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by S. P. Muthuraman. It stars Rajinikanth as Raghu, a soldier, alongside Sridevi and Chiranjeevi in a negative role. The story follows Raghu returning to his crime-ridden village, where he discovers the one-eyed thief is his former college roommate and brother-in-law. The film was produced by R. M. Veerappan, who originally wrote the script for M. G. Ramachandran. It was released on 27 October 1981 for Diwali. Despite the star power of Rajinikanth and Chiranjeevi, the film was a box office failure. It was later dubbed in Hindi as Zulm Ki Zanjeer.

Storyline
A soldier named Raghu returns to his village after army service. He finds the village terrorised by a one-eyed thief. He learns the thief is his old college roommate and also his brother-in-law. Raghu must stop him while protecting his family and his love.
