Oru Kai Oosai(1980)
'Oru Kai Osai' is a 1980 Indian Tamil-language drama film written, produced, and directed by K. Bhagyaraj. The film stars Bhagyaraj as Chinna Pannai and Ashwini as Dr. Amaravathi. Set in the village of Vellankoil, the story follows a mute man who falls in love with a doctor running from her past. The film addresses caste discrimination and features a memorable performance by Sangili Murugan. It was well received for its unique characterisation and unexpected climax. The film was released on 25 July 1980 and was later remade in Telugu as 'Pranaya Geetham'.
