Raman Parasuraman(1980)
Raman Parasuraman is a 1980 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by M. S. Gopinath. The film stars Sivakumar in a dual role as the titular brothers, alongside Latha, Rathi, Sathyaraj, and Pandari Bai. The story follows two brothers separated after antique smugglers murder their parents; the elder becomes a vengeful outlaw while the younger grows up to be a doctor. The film was shot across Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, and Thailand, giving it an international scope. It is a remake of Gopinath's own Telugu film Ramudu Parasuramudu. Kalki magazine praised its music, cinematography, and the absence of comedy. The film was released on 19 September 1980.

Storyline
Two young brothers watch their parents get killed by antique statue smugglers. They get separated and grow up in different worlds. The elder brother becomes an outlaw obsessed with revenge. The younger brother becomes a doctor. Their paths cross again when the elder hunts down the killers overseas.
